About SEP Film House

Stories have the power to change how we see the world.

SEP Film House was established in 2024 with a simple goal: to tell stories that matter.

Based in Milan, Italy, we are an independent film production house with an international outlook and a multicultural team. Our people come from different backgrounds, experiences, and cultures, but we are united by a shared belief: meaningful storytelling can create understanding, amplify unheard voices, and contribute to a better world.

Our team brings together talented professionals across filmmaking and production — directors, producers, cinematographers, editors, and creative minds who are among the best in their fields. We believe great work begins with listening, curiosity, integrity, and respect for the people and communities whose stories we have the privilege to tell.

We often work alongside NGOs, international organizations, and communities to create documentaries and films that bring important stories to a wider audience. From intimate human stories to award-winning short films, our work seeks to give visibility to perspectives and voices that are too often overlooked or unheard.

Our multicultural team allows us to work across cultures with sensitivity and authenticity. We speak English, Italian, Persian, and French, and are comfortable working in international environments with partners, organizations, and teams from around the world.

While Milan is our home, our work has no borders. We are ready to collaborate with international organizations, NGOs, institutions, and creative partners who share our values and want to use film to communicate ideas, document realities, and create meaningful impact.

For us, filmmaking is more than producing beautiful images. It is about giving stories the attention they deserve.

We believe every story has the potential to move people, challenge assumptions, open conversations, and inspire change. That is why we choose projects that have something to say — stories rooted in people, purpose, and the world around us.

We tell stories that matter.
Stories that deserve to be heard.
Stories that can help create a better world.
